- Annually, California has the highest number of abortions, but it also has nearly DOUBLE the abortion rate of all other states! (Statistics are from Guttmacher Institute, PP's education arm)
- California has no regulations on abortion of any kind. Even late term abortion.
- The state refuses to regulate or investigate the abortion industry.
- California abortionists receive both state and federal funds for their gruesome work.
- These human babies are killed even though adoptive couples are longing to adopt.
California Christians of ALL denominations have been largely disengaged from the reality of this routine medical killing. They do not understand that it is those in authority, it is the government that is paying for and promoting this great evil, And now, government protected abortionists are dedicated to expanding it!
We can no longer 'play church' and assert that the Christian position is merely, 'there may be alternative choices." In the face of wholesale unlimited-abortion and its growing expansion, accepting the 'many choices framework' -i.e. framing abortion as one more 'choice,' does not in anyway address our clear duty to end this unregulated, government-sponsored killing of the innocent.
We must turn to God first, and then work to end the government-protection and promotion of this great evil.
