A victory abroad is a victory for us. More and more we are faced with cultural battles that are reflected as legal ones, and whenever a legal battle is won- even in another country- we have reason to celebrate.
Dr. Josef Schuster, president of the German Council of Jew in Germany led the charge in “a long, serious and sometimes emotional debate” that ended with a bill being passed that actually toughens the country’s stance on the issue, punishing doctors who still encourage the practice.
